Some really really big changes going on over here and my blog has suffered! I have hired some AMAZING new women that will be helping me run this sweet business so hopefully my blog won’t be suffering any longer!
On to this sweet sweet gal! Alex was a DREAM to capture. She really posed the entire time and not a fuss or tear was heard or seen. She just reinforced my obsession with photographing this age!

I have such an amazing job in so many ways, but one of the most amazing things is to be given the honor of being one of the first people to meet your new little blessings. I know what you are asking and intrusting to me when you hire me to capture such a fleeting moment. I don’t take it lightly and I enjoy every second!
This session was no different except that I felt doubly honored in capturing these twins that Mom and Dad had waited so long for. Mom sure did an amazing job of making sure these babies cooked as long as possible. She was in and out of the hospital and did such an amazing job of bringing them to 35 weeks at 5 lbs each! They were born healthy , happy and ready to go home! What a blessing you both were given as they are so sweet and cuddly and some of the most beautiful newborns I’ve seen. I can’t wait to continue to watch them grow!

I had to share some of this sweet sweet 3 month old I had the pleasure of meeting! She certainly brightened my morning and made me want my *toddler* to be a baby again 
She smiled and cooed the entire session. What a strong, calm little baby girl.

Apparently I took an unintentional leave of absence from the blog! It’s been busy around here and I am so BLESSED to have been shooting so much! I can’t even tell you all how much it means to be chosen to capture your beautiful children. Sorry my first post in a while is about MY child, but she recently celebrated a very special birthday. It was her very first one and I couldn’t be more proud! Here are some pictures of our poodle on her big day…
She woke up to her dream breakfast, milk and pancakes Daddy went into work late so he could have breakfast with his birthday girl and share in her present opening!

Her sweet new Hope chest was a gift from Matt and I and was painted by my favorite painter, Kristen. It’s a place to keep her special keepsakes until she has a place of her own {years from now I hope haha}
She then got dressed in her special new outfit her Grammie made her for her birthday. Isn’t it the sweetest thing?
She finally got her cake after waiting all day…
We are pretty sure she liked it!
The weekend following her birthday we had a little party for our big girl. It was such a wonderful time and we feel so blessed to have found such wonderful friends up here, but certainly missed our Florida friends and family!
Thank you all for coming and making her day so special and to her Grandparents for helping me out all day. It made the day so wonderful for Matt and I. Her beautiful cake and cupcakes were made by a dear friend of mine and I have to thank her Aunt KK for taking some pics around the party and for Katie for snapping a couple family shots. I forgot to take pics before the party started so some things are a little scattered – oops!

Meet William and Miller. We began our session with William showing me his new big boy bed and hanging out with the boys in big brother’s room. Then we headed outdoors for some fun and finished it off with a wild time in the bath tub! William showed off some pretty sweet dance moves in the tub {Mom and Dad know what I’m talking about}. They were such a joy and watching the whole family together made my morning! William and Miller you are very blessed little boys to have such adoring parents. It was a pleasure sharing the morning with you all and I hope you enjoy my take on your sweet babies!
